📖 परिचय (Introduction)

इस्लाम धर्म हा जगातील दुसऱ्या क्रमांकाचा मोठा धर्म असून, पैगंबर मोहम्मद यांच्या शिकवणींवर आधारित आहे. इस्लामचा मूलमंत्र म्हणजे "अल्लाह एक आहे" (तौहीद). इस्लामची सुरुवात 7व्या शतकात अरबस्थानात झाली आणि आज जगभर पसरली आहे.

📖 Introduction

Islam is the second-largest religion in the world, based on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The core belief of Islam is the oneness of God (Tawhid). It originated in the 7th century CE in Arabia and has now spread globally.

🌿 पैगंबर मोहम्मद / Prophet Muhammad

पैगंबर मोहम्मद यांना इस्लाम धर्माचा अंतिम संदेष्टा मानले जाते. त्यांना अल्लाहकडून जिब्राईल देवदूताद्वारे कुरआनचा संदेश प्राप्त झाला.

Prophet Muhammad is regarded as the last messenger of Islam. He received divine revelations from Allah through the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel), which were compiled into the Quran.

📚 कुरआन / Quran

इस्लामचा पवित्र ग्रंथ कुरआन आहे. तो अरबी भाषेत लिहिला असून, त्यात जीवन जगण्याचे तत्त्वज्ञान व अल्लाहची शिकवण आहे.

The sacred scripture of Islam is the Quran, written in Arabic. It contains divine guidance, laws, and principles for leading a righteous life.

🙏 इस्लामचे पाच स्तंभ / Five Pillars of Islam

• शहादा (Shahada) – अल्लाह व मोहम्मद यांच्यावर विश्वास
• सलात (Salah) – दिवसातून पाच वेळा नमाज
• जकात (Zakat) – गरजूंना दान
• सौम (Sawm) – रमजानमध्ये उपवास
• हज (Hajj) – मक्केला यात्रा

⛪ पंथ / Denominations

इस्लामचे दोन प्रमुख पंथ आहेत: सुन्नी आणि शिया. दोन्ही पंथांचा मूलभूत विश्वास एकच आहे, परंतु काही धार्मिक आचारांमध्ये फरक आहे.

The two main branches of Islam are Sunni and Shia. While both share the same core beliefs, they differ in certain practices and traditions.

🌍 वारसा व प्रभाव / Legacy & Influence

इस्लाम धर्माने विज्ञान, गणित, औषधशास्त्र, वास्तुकला आणि साहित्य यावर मोठा प्रभाव टाकला आहे. ईद-उल-फितर आणि ईद-उल-अजहा हे प्रमुख सण आहेत.

Islam has contributed significantly to science, mathematics, medicine, architecture, and literature. The major festivals are Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
